Information for people with special needs and accessibility issues

The CityCube Berlin was built with accessibility in mind. All areas are accessible with wheelchairs and for people with disabilities. If you require a service or have a special request, please contact us at global@droidcon.com at least one week before the event so we can get back to you with a response.



I am living far away but I would like to come, can you help me pay for travel or offer cheaper tickets?

Sadly we cannot help with travel cost but do offer diversity tickets through Coder Bee, Geek Girls Carrots or Women Who Code.



Will there be a cloak room?

Yes! You can leave your jacket and bags with us.



Will sessions be recorded?

Yes, all sessions will be recorded and later published on our website at www.droidcon.com.



I want to see two sessions that are running at the same time. What can I do?

You could clone yourself ;) Or be happy, that all sessions will be recorded and later on published on our website. You can also book a Group ticket so that your whole team can attend.



How do I get from droidcon Berlin to my hotel?

Please check with Berlin's public transportation service ( BVG) to find out what routes to take. Otherwise just take a cab or Uber, they know their way around here ;)

Do you have child care at droidcon Berlin?

We are still currently evaluating the demand. If you are interested, please contact us at global@droidcon.com.



Will food and drinks be provided?

Water and coffee will be provided throughout the whole time. Two smaller breaks with snacks in the morning and afternoon, as well as lunch, will be provided to keep you at strength on each day.
For the general party we will have snacks and several alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for all participants. Of course all free of charge :)



What is the general party?

After the first conference day, October 20th, our droidcon Berlin General Party will take place. The General Party is for every participant of droidcon Berlin and takes place in our Networking - Gaming - Area.



What happens to my droidcon Berlin 2020 Ticket, now that the event has moved to 2021?

All ticketholder, that purchased their ticket back in 2019 and 2020 will receive a free code to redeem a new valid ticket for droidcon Berlin 2021. The ones, that purchased their tickets in the 2021 Eventbrite ticketshop can keep it.
